Exams and cleanings
Your hygienist removes plaque and tartar, and Dr. Ed checks your teeth, gums, bite and the soft tissue of your mouth. Regular visits are how small problems stay small.

Digital x-rays
A wireless digital sensor gives a sharp image at a low dose. We show you the pictures on the screen and walk you through what we see.

Oral cancer screening
Part of every exam. We look and feel for red or white patches, sores and lumps in the mouth, throat and neck, and refer you quickly if anything needs a closer look.

Tooth-colored fillings
Decay is removed and the tooth is rebuilt with composite resin matched to your tooth color, usually in one visit.

Crowns
A porcelain cap that protects a cracked, heavily filled or root-canal-treated tooth and restores its shape.

Bridges
A fixed replacement for a missing tooth, anchored on crowns over the teeth on either side.

Dental emergencies
A broken tooth, a knocked-out tooth or sudden pain. Call us first and we will tell you what to do and when we can see you.
Questions people ask us
How often should I come in for a cleaning?
Twice a year suits most adults. If you have gum disease or build up tartar quickly, Dr. Ed may suggest visits every three or four months, and he will tell you why.
Do you see the whole family?
Yes. We see children, parents and grandparents, and some of our patients have been coming to us for 25 years.
Do you take my insurance?
We are a fee-for-service office, which means we do not sign contracts with insurance companies. Many patients still use their dental plan to get reimbursed. Our fees and insurance page explains how that works.
Dr Filangeri has been my dentist for 25 years. Would not go anywhere else. He and his staff are amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Have always gone out of their way to help and accommodate me.
