What happens, step by step

Say hello
Come in a few minutes early so we can meet you and go over your health history. Bring any medications you take, your insurance card if you have one, and recent x-rays from another office if you have them.

A full exam
Dr. Ed checks your teeth, gums, bite and existing dental work, and does an oral cancer screening.

Digital x-rays
Taken with a wireless digital sensor, at a low dose. The images appear on the screen in seconds. How our x-rays work

A plain-English conversation
We look at the images together. Dr. Ed explains what he found, what he recommends, what is urgent and what is not, and gives you the fee for each option.

Your plan, your decision
Take the plan home and think it over. We schedule your cleaning and anything you decide to go ahead with.

Questions new patients ask
I have not been to a dentist in years. Is that a problem?
Not at all. We see people after long gaps all the time, and nobody here will lecture you. We start where you are and help you decide what to do first.
I am nervous about the dentist. What can you do?
Tell us when you call. We explain each step before we do it, you can ask us to stop at any time, and nothing happens at the first visit that you have not agreed to.
Do you have early or late appointments?
Yes. We open at 7 am on Tuesdays and Fridays and stay until 8 pm on Wednesdays.
